Technology transfer and Partnership (TT&P) department TARI Ukiriguru in
collaboration with Potato Interantional Center(CIP): More than 86 farmers {60-Male &20-Female}
from Bukoli ward in Geita district, Geita region participated on farmers field
day (FFD) held on 6.5.2022.Farmers benefited from disseminated improved
sweetpotato varieties from TARI Ukiriguru which are characterized by high yield
per hector (15-20t/ha), high resistant to diseases and have high nutritional
content.
