Mikocheni Agricultural Research Center (TARI Mikocheni) yesterday on 23/05/2022 when visited by a total of 31 students (19 Males and 12 Females) studying BSc. Aquatic Science and Fisheries from the University of Dar Es Salaam (UDSM). The students visited the Agricultural Research Center with the aim of learning practically the various activities carried out in the molecular biology laboratory. Deogratius Mark and Hamza Msangi, researchers at TARI Mikocheni led the students on their one-day visit. At the end of their visit, the students showed great satisfaction as many of them admitted that the practical training led by skilled researchers (Deogratius and Hamza) made it easier for them to understand many things practically including how to extract DNA from animals and plant tissues.Deogratius Mark, researcher giving initial explanations to the students in the conference room available at TARI Mikocheni.
