Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute

More than 700 farmers from Arusha, Arumeru, Monduli and Karatu districts have received education about various technologies for better agriculture Practices through the Agribusiness exhibition organized by the Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute Selian Center in collaboration with various stakeholders.  

The exhibition was centered on the entire value chain of agriculture where more than 10 companies involved in the production of seeds and fertilizers have participated in providing education to farmers for two days from July 14-15, 2023 in the fields of TARI-Selian.

The opening of the Exhibition was attended by the Director General of TARI Dr. Geoffrey Mkamilo together with the Agriculture Officer Daniel Loiruki who represented the Administrative Secretary of Arusha Region.

Farmers have said that the exhibition has been a springboard to help them increase production through adopting good agricultural practices, improve their health by cultivating high iron beans and increase their income.
