Farmers in Kilimanjaro trained on Quality Rice Seed Production

Rice seed producers were trained on quality seed production held on 1st March 2023 at Kilimanjaro Agricultural Training College (KATC). The training focused on proper management practices for quality seed production. The training was facilitated by researchers from TARI Ifakara and Dakawa centres. During training more emphasis was put on required procedures for production of Quality Declared Seed (QDS), harvesting and post-harvest handling processes. The Kilimanjaro Agricultural Training College (KATC) in Moshi Township was the training host.
