THE PARENTS COMMUNITY OF CHAMA CHA MAPINDUZI(CCM) -MWANZA REGION TO COLLABORATE WITH TARI IN RESEARCH ACTIVITIES.

The secretariat of the parents community CCM Mwanza Region led by its secretary Ms.Dotho Omary with its chairman Comrade Rahim Jiraj together with Yohana Ihombe (Secretary of Economy, Finance and Investment) recently visited the Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute (TARI) – Ukiriguru center with the aim of establishing collaboration in the agricultural sector.

The collaboration will be based on establishing a demonstration farm in Sengerema district for sunflower crops, sweet potatoes, cotton and cassava. To begin with, a farm of 40 acres of sunflowers which is expected to be planted at the beginning of February, 2024 where TARI- Ukiriguru will provide a total of 120 kg of seeds.
