Today we had a visitors Mr.Isack Yonah who is the Manager of Agrometeorogy from Tanzania Metrogical Authority (TMA) and his team from Dar es Salaam and Mr.Prosper Kashasha (Manager Kagera Met)  visited TARI Maruku Station to see the operation of the Automatic Weather Station (AWS) built in collaboration with TMA and Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) who funded the Project.The Presence and functioning of the AWS will Smoothly help the acquisition of the reliable weather information which are greatly needed in day to day performance of the research activities.Thus,the installation of this self control weather station mashine at TARI Maruku will add value not only to research activities being conducted by the station but also to farmers in Kagera region whose agricultural activities depends on weather information which are going to be captured by AWS.The attachment pics justifies the event
