1.0 Introduction
TARI Naliendele through Groundnut Research Program (GRP) organized and conducted a training of Extension Officers and lead farmers on good agricultural practices for groundnut crop in Mkinga DC - Tanga region, Maswa DC - Simiyu region, Ushetu DC - Shinyanga region and Bukombe DC - Geita region.
The targeted objective of this training is to build capacity to Agricultural Extension Officers so that they can assist farmers in groundnut crop production
2.0 ACHIEVEMENT
The team participated fully in a training by collaborating with DAICO’s Offices in all District Councils intended to be covered in the training program as shown in the table below.
