The Applied Computing Cluster will be a hub for the application of information and communication technologies (ICT) and data-driven solutions in the agricultural research and innovation sector in Tanzania. Part of its agenda is to work on the creation and maintenance of digital tools for data management, modelling, automation, and decision-making in the field of research. Moreover, the cluster will advocate for the use of artificial intelligence, GIS, remote sensing, and software development to facilitate the enhancement of efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of research products the institution.
